About the role
We are seeking a Programmatic Media Manager with experience in campaign management and execution. Managers are direct managers of junior team members on their account, responsible for guiding their growth and ensuring the team functions effectively with minimal errors. As a Manager on our Digital Activation team, you will play a key role in developing programmatic media plans, executing campaigns, and ensuring pacing, performance, and the Digital Activation Process are activated correctly. We value individuals who are vocal, engaged leaders, accountable for all aspects of the plan, and capable of flagging and escalating concerns appropriately.

Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Drive overall digital strategy and tactics to meet client goals, working closely with account lead(s).
- Establish leadership with clients and across departmental teams, effectively prioritizing and negotiating needs.
- Manage and develop junior team members through mentoring, training, and delegation.
- Prioritize and manage quarterly priorities and ad-hoc requests to ensure timely execution.
- Problem-solve for issues not previously attempted and proactively share learnings across the organization.
- Identify ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, such as implementing new processes.
- Bring proactive ideas to help meet client goals and grow business.
- Communication
- Consult, educate, and negotiate with clients, agency partners, and vendors, providing expert consultation.
- Effectively communicate paid media insights, reporting, trends, and new initiatives to clients and internal teams.
- Present recommendations and ideas to clients and internal teams.
- Merchandise successes to the client and educate them on latest trends and best practices.
- Demonstrate appropriate judgment through proper escalation.
- Functional Expertise
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of programmatic optimizations (proactive and reactive), forecasting, and opportunity/gap analysis.
- Apply advanced platform knowledge across awareness, consideration, and conversion objectives.
- Monitor new media trends and products, evaluating their application to clients.
- Utilize research tools and competitive analysis.
- Manage budget, pacing, billing, and integrated media understanding.
- Provide inputs and guidance on campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of demand-side platforms.
- Oversee campaign management, including pacing, reporting, and optimizations.
- Develop cross-channel performance strategies and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure proper communication between agency capabilities and the performance team.
- Lead day-to-day client communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience and expert knowledge of digital programmatic buying, with hands-on experience using DV360 and/or Amazon DSP.
- Experience with regulated industries/accounts is preferred.
- Experience working across several media channels and curiosity in emerging media platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and understanding methodologies for evaluating data.
- Polished presentation, communication, and listening skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confidence in analyzing and acting on marketing data while exceeding performance and viewability goals.
- Working knowledge of third-party verification tools, including IAS.
Who You’ll Partner With
You’ll work closely with programmatic strategists and coordinators on your team to ensure efficient campaign setup, adjustments, and optimization. Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Activation, you’ll collaborate with the broader Digital Activation team (including Search and Paid Social), media Strategy, and marketing sciences teams to address client needs and communicate results.

Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
Pay
$90,000–$95,000 per year.
