About the role

This role leads program execution for Prepared Foods and Bakery teams, implementing company-wide programs and creating deliverables that drive consistent performance.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Customer Obsession by defining venue strategy and establishing business requirements that prioritize food quality, food safety, and customer experience.
  • Partner with the Executive Leader of Execution and Inventory Planning to enable category strategies that increase profitability while maintaining the highest standards customers expect.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across category merchants, operational area leadership, field and process support, operations business support, strategic planning, finance, marketing, exclusive brands, and learning and development teams.
  • Earn Trust through transparent communication by demonstrating strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
  • Lead business requirements and success metrics for strategic venue initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent and scalable company-wide execution programs.
  • Define and implement venue strategy for Prepared Foods and Bakery categories across all regions.
  • Translate category strategies into measurable operational execution plans with category merchants.
  • Collaborate with operational area leadership, field teams, and process support to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between execution teams and category merchant organizations.
  • Maintain and monitor key performance indicators including shrink, waste, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve execution gaps through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure program design and store requirements meet all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Present complex business information and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop a talent pipeline and build high-performing execution teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Communicate strategy, priorities, and performance expectations clearly across all levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
