Responsibilities
- Leads and manages Program Design team, including prioritization, workload oversight, coaching, and alignment to launch priorities.
- Oversees business rule development (BRD) and ensures requirements are complete, consistent, operationally feasible, and aligned with the intended patient and provider experience.
- Captures workflow development, including Visio/Lucid process flows, to support clear translation of business rules into operational and system requirements.
- Partners with Implementation Managers to support internal launch readiness while preserving their focus on external partner engagement, launch execution, timeline ownership, and escalation management.
- Collaborates with Operations, RCM, Data Informatics, SWFT builders, and other cross-functional teams to validate requirements, identify gaps, and reduce downstream rework.
- Supports development and continuous improvement of standardized templates, tools, workflows, and scalable launch processes.
- Ensures documentation is organized, complete, and accessible for internal teams supporting launch readiness and post-launch operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in specialty pharmacy, clinical operations, or biotech/pharma, with focus on rare diseases, high-cost therapies, or new product implementation.
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy operations, implementation workflows, patient journey design, and cross-functional launch readiness.
- Experience developing, reviewing, or managing business rules, BRDs, workflow documentation, and operational requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions, synthesize complex inputs, and translate requirements into clear, actionable design documentation.
- Excellent project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coach team members, manage competing priorities, and provide structure in a high-volume launch environment.
- Comfort partnering with technical and operational teams to support system design readiness and build translation.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- PharmD.
- Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory or manager role.
