Responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategy to improve developer productivity, test automation, and delivery pipeline.
  • Partner with tech and design teams to deliver tools and strategies for developers, including writing, building, and testing code, and implementing test automation in the DevOps pipeline.
  • Drive the experience for adopting development tools, automated testing, and quality measures for developed software.
  • Champion developer needs by leveraging Software Development Life Cycle and industry best practices to establish the developer experience vision and strategies.
  • Define features and collaborate with technical teams to ensure delivered capabilities meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
    • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
    • A Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience

Qualifications

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Experience exploring, prototyping, or implementing emerging technologies and AI automation tools (such as Gemini, Claude, Claude Code, or Google Apps Script).

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

  • Chicago, IL: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management; $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
  • Mclean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management; $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
  • New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management; $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
  • Plano, TX: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management; $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
  • Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management; $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
