Manager, Product Management
About the role
The Product Manager role supports new product development and innovation activities for Identity Solutions. Specifically, you will work on the Payment Verification product team, focusing on developing and investigating new market opportunities, technologies, and emerging trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop product concepts through the early stage-gates of Mastercard's product development framework.
- Craft problem statements, user journeys, financial models, competitor assessments and risk analyses in accordance with required templates and techniques.
- Partner with technology, finance, legal, data privacy and regional stakeholders to socialize and evaluate findings.
- Present ideas to Identity Solutions' product leadership for consideration and advancement through the commercialization process.
- Support Identity Solutions' product evaluation process: Mentor and support product development teams through Identity Solutions’ product evaluation process.
- Partner with stakeholders and partners to continuously improve the efficiency and efficacy of Identity Solutions' product evaluation and advancement processes.
- Inspire early-stage product development efforts across Identity Solutions: Assess the impact of emerging technology and its application to payments, identity verification and fraud risk assessment.
- Monitor trends and emerging regulations to inform our organization’s strategy.
- Develop thought leadership insights that align findings with the strategic priorities of Identity Solutions and Mastercard.
Requirements

- Superior story-telling skills including the ability to simplify complex data concepts and define market-resonating outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Positive interpersonal skills with a passion for collaboration and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – ability to build compelling business cases and presentations, conduct interviews and invite additional perspectives.
- Experience in payments, authentication and innovation are a plus.

Pay
Pay ranges from $121,000 - $169,000 CAD in Toronto, Canada, based on location, experience, and other qualifications for the role. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
Schedule
The role is full-time and is based in Toronto, Canada.
