About the Role
The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team seeks an experienced Acquisition Professional to lead sourcing, supplier performance management, and the entire purchase order lifecycle for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers. You will manage supplier relationships, support complex procurement activities, and collaborate across functional groups to meet program objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue RFPs.
- Place purchase orders of medium complexity in compliance with FAR/DFAR and corporate requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
- Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations (price, delivery, scope, terms & conditions).
- Perform price and cost analysis in support of proposals.
- Nurture professional relationships with first-tier subcontractors.
- Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams to achieve objectives.
- Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.
- Occasional travel required.
Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, finance, or a similar role.
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP/PRISM-based environment experience.
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware/services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Experience with contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, etc.).

Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The final offer considers role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
