What You Will Learn As the Process Expert Manager at OMA, you will be part of the New Product Launch process by attending new formula risk assessments and launch meetings. You will help guide the contract manufacturer through the first production, often with on-site support. You will also help with the onboarding of new contract manufacturers. Prepare and manage technical dossier (Blue Book- BB) for CM production costing Review/Approve CM bulk manufacturing processes & bulk BOM’sLead Process risk assessment with new and current CM Train CMs to ensure understanding of process and manufacturing requirements Partner with CM Sourcing in validating potential new full-service CM’s Participate in CM’s certification program for bulk testingProvide technical support for all new launches and CM transfer Manage OTC validations for production of regulated products at the CMReview and support CM change control associated to NC due to processing challenges Provide technical support to CM with their Investigation Initiate and follow up the corrective action process for nonconforming challengesAssess CM Process/Filling CapabilitySupport CM with L’Oreal Manufacturing Process (SP) implementation and adaptation; Support first production for manufacturing and filling operations at the CMManage Bulk reworks - rework instructions and CM Investigation Manage quality waiver processProvide technical expertise to all CMs in support of OMA productionSecure all formula information per L’Oréal’s procedures Create and implement quality proceduresSupport audits of the CM. Support DGO/Internal auditsLead the approach of continuous improvement of quality: monitoring performance, analyze quality reports, monitor the change management Drive quality improvement projects Required Qualifications What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred4+ years of thorough experience in pilot lab, bulk lab, or related experience in process developmentExperience working in a fast-paced consumer goods company a must; experience in the cosmetics/personal care industry preferred.Knowledge of ISO Standards 9001 and GMP Standards (ISO 22716)Knowledge of OTC Requirements in cosmetic manufacturing industryStrong Excel SkillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresExcellent communication and organization skillsThe ability to interpret data and statisticsLeadership and management skillsPosition requires domestic and international travel 30%+ of time)Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required.
