Manager, Private Equity Fund Accounting (HYBRID)
About the role
The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is expanding its Private Equity Fund Accounting Teams. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, accounting, and administration services to private equity fund customers. Key responsibilities include managing the accounting operations, resolving accounting issues, coordinating new fund setups, serving as a liaison, and supporting various year-end audit engagements.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration for alternative funds.
- Lead the delegation of funds, coordinate/onboard new fund set ups, and serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Work closely with all parties to provide accurate and thorough accounting packages.
- Perform due diligence to ensure clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations.
- Implement Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures when reviewing all fund transactions.
- Generate and reconcile all accounting reporting, including month-end valuation reports.
- Review and approve month-end valuations prior to distribution to clients with a goal of 100% accuracy.
- Authorize wire payments from fund's escrow accounts.
- Correspond with customers regarding day-to-day inquiries, including questions on transactions associated with the fund(s), administration servicing planning, and reporting of funds and financial documents.
- Connect with investment managers, transfer agents, and sales and service teams to resolve open issues and questions, and communicate with internal technology support and vendor support when necessary.
- Conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with supervisors and analysts, and provide career pathing and training.
- Support new business development and relationship teams for prospect calls, client visits, and presentations.
- Facilitate the on-boarding of new and converted clients by collecting client requirements, submitting any custom requests, and communicating key results to team members.
- Participate in various IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify processes across the division and organization.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Private Equity Fund Accounting / Fund Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisor or manager level experience.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Pay
$105,000 - $160,000 per year. This position is also eligible to earn a discretionary bonus each year, subject to company approval.
