About the Role
Responsible for the activities of team members within practice(s) and oversees the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with a dyad partner. Serves as a liaison between providers, team members, and directors in daily operations, handling charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement, and practice staffing. Manages team member performance, development, and policy adherence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with dyad partner to manage patient flow while adhering to standard work, prepare work schedules, handle charge capture, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Create an environment that promotes patient satisfaction, ensuring patients, families, visitors, customers, and employees are treated with kindness and respect.
- Monitor patient satisfaction data and meet established targets, addressing concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop action plans to enhance patient satisfaction within the practice.
- Assist in the development and management of operational and capital budgets in collaboration with providers and directors.
- Monitor and manage labor and expenses within the practice.
- Oversee interviewing, recruitment, hiring, retention, performance monitoring, corrective action, and termination of team members, consulting with Human Resources and providers as needed.
- Monitor time and attendance records and prepare/report payroll for team members.
- Foster team member engagement and develop a culture of excellence and professionalism within the practice.
- Hold regular team meetings and ensure timely communication with team members, providers, and leadership.
- Participate in organizational initiatives, continuously monitoring processes and services for quality, cost, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Implement recommendations to improve operational efficiency and introduce new services.
- Ensure recommended patient education materials and programs are developed and implemented.
- Ensure services comply with state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and accreditation/compliance requirements.
- Assume a leadership and training role, delegating appropriately to facilitate safe, quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.
- Review and monitor operational reporting tools, creating action plans for identified opportunities.
Qualifications
- Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent in business, management, or a related area.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, management, or a related area.
- 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, medical practice, or related work.
- 1 year of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience.
