About the role
The Global PT Mounts Systems group is responsible for developing Mounts and implementing them into all Ford Motor Company vehicles. The Powertrain Mounts Department executes the design, release, and testing of Mounts for ICE, BEV and HEV vehicles. This position will be responsible for Core, Attribute for all global applications and Design and Release for FNA applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Mounts for ICE, BEV and HEV vehicles
- Execute design, release, and testing of Mounts
- Manage Core and Attribute for all global applications
- Lead Design and Release for FNA applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in powertrain mount engineering
- Experience with ICE, BEV, and HEV vehicle systems
- Strong understanding of design thinking and user experience principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with advanced materials and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
