About the role

The Manager, Platform Solutions Delivery plays a crucial role in driving the successful planning and execution of platform solutions for our clients. This role involves overseeing the strategy for moving our business toward AI adoption and a mature DevOps process while managing the intake, assessment, and planning of new cloud, platform, and data engineering projects. The position is hybrid if the employee is within 40 miles of a Vestcom facility; otherwise, it is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Engineering Project Leads, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee the intake of new requests from product management and other stakeholders, assist the Engineering Leadership Team in assessments of product and client needs and technical feasibility, and develop processes around prioritization with Product Owners.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budget estimations.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, internal IT teams, and other departments to gather requirements, communicate project plans, and ensure alignment.
  • Leverage industry best practice methodologies through Agile and DevOps processes to enhance project management, continuously evaluating opportunities for AI adoption and increased efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field; 6+ years of related Information Technology project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile); PMI Project Management Professional (“PMP”) certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a people manager with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, lead change, and collaborate with diverse personalities and competing agendas across the organization.
  • Previous experience with project management tools for project tracking and resource scheduling, alongside a demonstrated track record of successful project management and change management initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively update internal and external stakeholders regularly on status and immediately on issues.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize work requests from multiple requestors in a high-velocity environment with limited knowledge or resource availability.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $103,000 - $154,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education, training, job scope, responsibilities, and location.
