Manager - Plant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead all aspects of site operations, including Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics, Employee Engagement, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to a safety first culture with an unwavering commitment to zero harm
• Lead plant performance through KPIs focused on Safety, Quality, Production, Service, Cost, and People
• Manage plant operations, budgets, expenses, and financial performance to meet operational and profitability goals
• Drive Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Support S&OP processes, including capacity planning, inventory optimization, and new product introductions
• Build and lead a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other sites to support business objectives and customer expectations
• Develop, coach, and mentor leaders and employees to strengthen organizational capability and succession planning
• Promote open communication, employee engagement, and leadership development across the site

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• More than 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Prior experience leading within a manufacturing, packaging, converting, or related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing plant financials, operational KPIs, and CI initiatives
• Proven ability to develop leaders, build organizational capability, and support succession initiatives
• Proven knowledge in leading a S&OP process and experience developing High Performing Teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Solid business and financial acumen managing budgets, costs, and operational performance
• Able to drive accountability, employee engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement
