Manager, Physician Services (Remote)
About the role
The Revenue Cycle Manager supports Revenue Cycle operations for Medical Group Services by analyzing data and proactively identifying opportunities to support organizational objectives. The role involves working closely with the Revenue Cycle Leadership to optimize financial performance, maximize cash flow, reduce denials, and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Proactively analyze data, identify revenue cycle challenges and optimization opportunities (e.g. holds, denials, payers, practices, providers, enrollments, etc.)
- Identify revenue cycle process and workflow issues
- Maintain and implement revenue cycle policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Support local Medical Group Services' markets with training and implementing processes (travel when necessary)
- Provide support to the Revenue Cycle Team with data requests and system updates
- Perform routine fee schedule adds in Athena and assist with annual fee schedule analysis and updates
- Ensure revenue cycle setups are correct for new providers and departments
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Team, Athena One Clinical Team, and/or Athena Project Managers on large scale projects ensuring accurate setup of revenue cycle functions
- Assist in performing Post Go Live reviews under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information technology, Health Care Administration or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle and accounts receivable experience
- Practice Management experience preferred
- 2+ years of Athena experience highly preferred
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice (CPC-A) preferred

Pay
$65,172+ per year. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
