Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers within Personal Lines including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and coaching.
- Meet or exceed Personal Lines production goals set by SVP, Agency Manager by assisting account managers in generating new business and quoting personal lines insurance.
- Provide customer service to a small Personal Lines book of business, including but not limited to policy changes, assisting with inquiries, writing & processing insurance policies, educating customers about policy coverages, and general customer service.
- Work with the Operations Administrator to ensure all systems, procedures, rate and product changes, as well as insurance company regulations are communicated to and adhered to by all Personal Lines staff.
- Work with the management team to oversee, coordinate, and maintain strong working relationships with both underwriting and marketing personnel from partner companies.
- Maintain communications as well as relationships with Greylock Federal Credit Union employees regarding referrals to the agency.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company-specific products and services and assist management with implementing marketing and sales strategies.
- Troubleshoot and reconcile problems and complaints referred by customers and staff.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty (MA) license.
- 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience with an independent insurance agency.
- Travel to other offices as needed for meetings, training sessions, or office coverage.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree, Some College, or No Degree.
- Management & Rating Systems: Epic.
- Computer Skills: DocuSign, Adobe, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Zoom.
