Responsibilities

• Oversight of payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of wages and related remittances
• Management of payroll documentation, filings, disbursements, and related processes
• Implementation of process improvements in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Leadership of a team of payroll coordinators, specialists, and a supervisor, including employment decisions, performance management, compensation, reward planning, employee development, and overseeing the team budget

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years payroll experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience (e.g., directly managing or mentoring/coaching)
• OR
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and a minimum of 5 years payroll experience, with at least 2 years leadership experience (e.g., directly managing or mentoring/coaching)

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years’ experience using Workday
• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, counseling, and mentoring other leaders and individual contributors in a payroll function
