About the role
This position is responsible for the supervision of staff and processes in the general accounting area for Visiting Nursing Association of WNY (a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency), VNA Home Care Services (a NYS Licensed Home Care Agency and infusion pharmacy), Family Pharmaceutical Services (a for-profit retail pharmacy), VNA of Northwest PA LLC, Kaleida Services LLC (Adult Day) and other Kaleida Health departments as directed. Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
Responsibilities
- Capital tracking
- Miscellaneous accounts receivable billing
- Cash and investment reconciliations
- Cash management
- Grant reporting
- Accounting deposit
- Surveys
- Operational budget preparation
- Annual cost report data
- Payroll tax deposits and reporting
- Variance analysis
- Annual and other audits
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance or similar field required
- Master's degree in business preferred
- 4 years of experience in an accounting function of a large organization or public accounting firm
- 2 years of experience in a staff supervisory role required
Schedule
Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No weekend or holiday requirement. No on-call required. Onsite work arrangement.
Pay
Salary range: $34.84 – $47.91 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
