What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Medical Assistant Triage Operators
- Ensure team adherence to standardized orthopedic assessment practices
- Conduct performance evaluations and guide ongoing training initiatives
- Oversee orthopedic telephone and electronic triage operations
- Serve as the primary escalation point for high-acuity triage decisions
- Collaborate with CMO and Operations Team to refine and update triage protocols
- Support safe, evidence-based patient navigation and care coordination
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics (response times, escalation accuracy, patient outcomes)
- Lead workflow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with clinical leadership to standardize best practices and education
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and clinical audits
- Act as liaison between triage staff, providers, and administrative leadership
- Escalate patient safety concerns appropriately
- Support onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and EMR best practices
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in chart reviews and quality improvement programs
What We’re Looking For
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 3–5 years of NP or RN clinical experience (orthopedics strongly preferred)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong clinical judgment with comfort overseeing triage and high-volume workflows
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
