Clinical Nurse Manager - Orthopedic Unit

Position: Clinical Nurse Manager - Ortho Unit Location: Arlington Heights, IL Hours: Day shift, full-time, 40 hours/week Responsibilities Include Managing unit compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining quality patient care.Supervising staff, overseeing performance evaluations, hiring, disciplining, and developing educational programs.Developing budgets, managing resources, monitoring costs, and analyzing financial reports.Formulating policies, ensuring evidence-based practices, and leading continuous quality improvement initiatives.Collaborating with physicians, representing the department, and participating in interdisciplinary groups.Enhancing patient experience, addressing service concerns, and fostering a customer-focused environment.Motivating and mentoring staff to promote a positive work environment and professional growth.Sharing responsibilities in the absence of other managers and adhering to hospital policies and standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN required.Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification; specialty certification preferred or obtainable within two years.Minimum of three years of clinical experience and three years of management experience.
