About the role

This position has responsibility for inbound/outbound Operations and Logistics for the Distribution Center. Directs and controls all elements of the distribution process, operating within capital and operating budget parameters. Often has responsibility for the facility.

Responsibilities

• Strive to achieve world-class customer service and operations systems.
• Plan, direct, and oversee warehouse operations.
• Ensure the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained.
• Manage subordinates by interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Ensure safe operation of the warehouse.
• Ensure the profitability of the warehouse.
• Develop and deliver metric reporting to senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Protect the confidentiality of patient health information.

Requirements

• Related Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 6-7 years of related experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple functions, shifts, or facility.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
• Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
