Manager - OneStream

About the role

The OneStream Center of Excellence (COE) seeks a manager to lead the financial consolidation and reporting platform, OneStream. This role is crucial for optimizing financial processes, ensuring data integrity, and delivering strategic reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner of OneStream FP&A workstreams managing all aspects from configuration to end-user support
• Partner with FP&A, Business Finance, and Corporate Finance and Accounting teams to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions
• Develop the OneStream roadmap, prioritizing enhancements aligned with finance leadership objectives
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP related controls requirements and other regulatory requirements
• Design and implement custom consolidations, reports, dashboards, and workflows in OneStream
• Build and maintain integrations with ERP systems (SAP, QAD) and other financial tools
• Write and maintain VB.NET/Visual Basic scripts for calculations, data transformations, and business rules
• Lead testing and validation for all system changes before production deployment
• Streamline planning processes within OneStream and support maintenance and development of FP&A capabilities
• Train and support finance teams on best practices for reporting and data management
• Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support for critical reporting periods
• Document system processes and maintain a library of reporting templates
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between IT and Finance, translate business needs into technical solutions, present system capabilities and recommendations to senior finance leadership, and work with external auditors to validate reporting accuracy

Requirements

• 7+ years in financial systems, with 3+ years of hands-on OneStream administration
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT
• Strong background in financial consolidations, FP&A, and month-end close processes
• Experience with ERP integrations (Oracle HFM, SAP, or similar)
• VB.NET/Visual Basic proficiency for scripting and automation
• Knowledge of FASB standards (FAS 52, FAS 109), IFRS, and SOX compliance
• Prior experience in public company financial reporting
