Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Leadership
• Leads employees during assigned shifts to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Sets work duties and monitors employee performance throughout the shift.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Aids in onboarding and training of new employees.
• Promotes teamwork and positive employee morale.
• Serves as acting supervisor in the absence of management when assigned.
• Addresses employee concerns and reports significant issues to management.
• Aids in maintaining adequate staffing throughout the shift.
• Maintains department open, operating, and closing according to established procedures.
• Maintains accurate records, logs, and required documentation.
• Ensures equipment is functioning properly and reports maintenance needs.
• Aids in inventory control and supply ordering as applicable.
• Identifies operational improvements and recommends solutions.
• Operations
• Ensures departmental standards, company policies, internal controls, gaming regulations, and safety procedures are consistently followed.
• Promotes exceptional guest service.
• Guest Service
• Resolves guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assists employees in handling difficult guest situations.
• Ensures guests receive prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Compliance
• Enforces departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive company and guest information.
• Reports suspicious activity or policy violations immediately.
• Promotes responsible gaming practices.
• Safety and Security
• Maintains a safe working environment.
• Ensures employees follow OSHA and casino safety procedures.
• Responds appropriately to emergencies.
• Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Aids in security activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Education
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of slot supervision experience.
