About the role
The Manager of Talent Acquisition role is responsible for leading the recruiting operations and developing high-impact hiring strategies that align with Silgan Containers' long-term business goals. This is a fully onsite role based in the company's office, Monday through Friday. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for corporate, manufacturing, and technical roles.
- Build and implement scalable talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals.
- Improve hiring efficiency, workflow consistency, and overall candidate experience.
- Partner with the business on workforce planning, staffing needs, and recruitment priorities.
- Manage internal mobility programs and promote equitable hiring practices.
- Maintain compliance with employment regulations and support hiring manager training.
- Oversee recruiting technologies, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Partner with Marketing to enhance employer branding and talent marketing initiatives.
- Track, evaluate, and report recruiting activity to support the business.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
- 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in formal people leadership.
- Expertise in recruiting operations and workflow optimization.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing onsite and remote teams.
- Working knowledge of employment regulations affecting hiring.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 15% for hiring events.
