Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is responsible for executing recruitment strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across the organization. This role will lead a team of recruiters and collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and senior leaders to ensure recruitment efforts align with business objectives.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of recruiters and coordinators to drive an efficient, inclusive, and innovative hiring process.
    • Design and implement internship programs that support early talent development and align with long-term workforce planning.
    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, professional associations, military organizations, and other external entities to enhance talent pipelines.
    • Promote a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the TA team.
    • Partner with business leaders and functional teams to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment initiatives, hiring metrics, and market insights.
    • Strengthen the employer brand and ensure consistent, engaging candidate experience across all touchpoints.
    • Develop and deliver training for hiring managers to enhance their participation in the recruitment process.
    • Optimize recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices to improve team performance and candidate outcomes.
    • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing to create compelling recruitment materials.
    • Manage relationships with external search firms and vendors as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with expertise in talent attraction, assessment, and selection.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior leadership experience managing direct reports.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing best-in-class sourcing and selection strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing internship programs and external partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead large-scale recruiting initiatives from design to execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Additional Information

IWS’s base pay actually offered takes into account a range of factors including, but not limited to, internal equity, the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Bonus: This role is bonus eligible as part of the compensation package. Benefits: IWS employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan. Salary Range: Minimum USD $110,000.00/Yr. Salary Range: Maximum USD $130,000.00/Yr.
