About the role
Under the Director of Supply Chain, the Manager of Supply Planning is responsible for managing an effective, integrated supply chain process, ensuring adequate levels of inventory and supplies for POM Wonderful Fresh and Beverage Operations. This individual manages and oversees Production Control and purchasing, playing an integral role in day-to-day operations. As the head of planning for key functional areas, you will collaborate with leaders across Planning, Manufacturing, Sales, Sourcing, Logistics, and Finance to drive reduced supply chain costs and support company strategies. This role provides team leadership through one or more subordinate managers.
Responsibilities
- Optimize supply plan to balance manufacturing efficiencies and planning priorities (including both fresh/arils and beverage operations).
- Provide strategic direction regarding all phases of the supply plan creation as a leader of the Supply Planning team.
- Create and drive the long-range supply planning process.
- Lead the team to create compelling analysis to drive decisions regarding seasonal supply planning in partnership with the manufacturing team.
- Provide ongoing reconciliation of global and regional priorities.
- Lead supply planning and systems strategies that result in increased service and profitability.
- Ensure regional supply planning processes support global supply planning direction.
- Drive a standardized process to analyze capacity management and factory delivery results.
- Provide analysis, information, and recommendations for team decision-making.
- Provide leadership and human resources planning: hire, coach, and mentor direct reports.
- Communicate key initiatives, direction, and vision to the planning team and other business partners.
- Clarify individual and team goals and performance measures.
- Drive and champion best practices and process improvements across planning teams to achieve business plans and goals.
- Provide leadership in determining gaps and opportunities in the effectiveness of regional and/or global planning systems and processes.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance to build an optimal production schedule aligned with demand requirements.
- Develop, execute, and participate in training programs that support best practice compliance.
- Make recommendations for department enhancements to the Director of Supply Chain.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in Supply Chain/Operations, Manufacturing, Materials Management, Production Management, or Delivery Planning.
- High-level understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, including 8 years’ experience in a management/leadership role.
- Strong financial skills and knowledge, including the ability to use factual data to make decisions and ensure profitability.
- Highly proficient in planning and operations planning systems and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Sound judgment and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the determination of policy and strategy.
- Excellent understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as innovation, inspiration, employee development, coaching, and engagement.
- Demonstrated leadership in building an effective learning environment, creating empowering processes, and leading major change implementation efforts.
- Ability to establish an independent view, make decisions, and motivate others, especially during difficult situations or on tough organizational issues.
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain and operations planning business processes and systems.
- Advanced knowledge of financial and operations planning.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and collaborate with colleagues where English is a second language.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with retailers and other company personnel.
- Ability to operate independently and follow general guidelines.
- Physical ability to use telephone, computer hardware/software (including keyboard), type, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.

Pay
$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 with up to 10% bonus potential. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
