Location: Remote (US or Canada) • Full‑time • Reports to the CEO

About the role

You own the supply side of the marketplace. That means the manufacturer portfolio end‑to‑end. You help negotiate the contracts with key suppliers and everyone else on the sheet. You spearhead specific vendor roadmaps, aligning closely with regional reps while driving seasonal demand initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial terms: Negotiate pricing, tiers, rebates and performance commitments across the portfolio.
  • Tier 1 relationships: Keep Tier 1 suppliers close and accountable.
  • Rebates and performance contracts: Track the company against every commitment and build deep supplier partnerships to hit critical thresholds.
  • The field‑rep channel: Build a direct panel of existing supplier reps, run education and round‑tables, and ensure they understand how we operate and can be assisted.
  • Demand programs: Create a quarterly calendar for each Tier 1 supplier—including at least one special and one webinar—focused on education and manufacturer loyalty programs.
  • Internal handoffs: Coordinate product information for marketplace and EHR displays, and guide sales/account‑management on awareness initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in medical aesthetics—manufacturer national accounts, distribution, wholesale, marketplace, or supply chain for a multi‑site group.
  • Experience on at least one side of a manufacturer agreement and having negotiated real contracts.
  • Ability to read a rebate schedule and quickly assess its value with volume context.
  • Deep knowledge of toxin and filler portfolios, loyalty programs (Allē, ASPIRE), and the organization of manufacturer field and national‑accounts teams.
  • Comfort with compliance mechanics (ship‑to accounts, medical director of record, attestations, 503A/B rules) or ability to become proficient rapidly.
  • Data‑driven decision making; proficiency with spreadsheets and dashboards.
  • Willingness to navigate around ineffective org charts and solve problems proactively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Existing relationships at Allergan, Galderma, Revance, Merz, Evolus, or similar.
  • Experience standing up a supplier or vendor program from scratch.
  • Daily use of AI tools.

How we’ll measure success

  • Marketplace growth.
  • Rebate capture against contracted commitments.
  • Category coverage and stockouts.
  • Active manufacturer rep relationships.

About Portrait

Portrait is an AI‑native operating system for independent aesthetics and wellness practices. It provides clinic owners with an EHR, AI software, a marketplace, and buying power that previously belonged only to PE‑backed groups. Independent practices deserve infrastructure that is truly on their side, and Portrait believes the pendulum is swinging back toward them. The marketplace enables practices to purchase injectables, fillers, peptides, topicals, and consumables at pricing they could not obtain on their own. The business is growing rapidly.
