Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Hotel Commercial, this is a strategic, high-visibility role within our Global Business Partnerships division. In this position, you'll drive revenue by negotiating hotel supplier agreements that create value for travelers, suppliers, and Amex GBT alike. As Manager of GSP, you'll lead end-to-end supplier management — from contract negotiation and execution to business development and strategic partnership programs, including our Hotel Growth Initiative (HGI).

What You’ll Do

  • Negotiate Strategic Agreements: Develop and execute profitable hotel supplier contracts that deliver measurable value across all stakeholders while advancing Amex GBT's commercial objectives
  • Accelerate Revenue Growth: Identify, develop, and drive implementation of incremental revenue opportunities with existing and prospective suppliers
  • Execute Value Delivery: Operationalize supplier value propositions and establish strategies to ensure all business development commitments are realized
  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through innovative engagement approaches and channels beyond conventional sales models
  • Monitor & Forecast Performance: Analyse portfolio metrics, track business performance, and develop revenue forecasts in coordination with the Global Revenue Management team
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate across departments and regions—including Traveler Care, Client Management, Sales, Revenue Management, Meetings & Events, Global Business Consulting, and GBP teams—to align strategies, enhance engagement, and optimize collective outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent English (written/verbal); multilingual a plus
  • Commercial, data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Proven negotiator with a track record of structuring and closing strong agreements/deals
  • Strong problem-solving skills; excels in ambiguity and under pressure
  • Deep knowledge of hotels, hotel agreements, and the broader TMC/travel supplier landscape
  • Working knowledge of revenue management and travel tech platforms (GDS, POS, booking tools)
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills across all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and remotely, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments; flexible to travel domestically/internationally

Pay

The US national base salary range for this position is from $88,200.00 - $163,800.00. The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.
