Manager of Spiritual Care

The Spiritual Care Manager (SCM) oversees the delivery of effective Spiritual Care services, manages and coaches the chaplains across the continuum of care within a local community. The SCM participates directly in the provision of Spiritual Care in proportion to the time available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of effective Spiritual Care services
• Manage and coach chaplains across the continuum of care within a local community
• Participate directly in the provision of Spiritual Care in proportion to the time available
• Report to the Director of Spiritual Care within an Administrative Service Area, with a matrixed reporting relationship to the Local Mission Leader
• Chaplains within the local community report directly to the Spiritual Care Manager
