Manager of Risk Management (CPHRM) – Healthcare/Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director in planning, implementing, and maintaining the Patient Safety and Risk Management Program.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Monitor and evaluate risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential liabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff, physicians, and administrative leaders to improve patient safety outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and promote continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal reviews, licensing, and regulatory audits.
• Educate staff on patient safety principles, legal risk issues, and compliance protocols.
• Maintain active knowledge of current Joint Commission Standards, CMS, and Client Regulations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university required.
• One to three years of experience in healthcare risk management required.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Prowess with personal computers and software applications.
• Thorough understanding of hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and healthcare compliance best practices.
