About the Role

Develop and maintain a sales team by directing focus, setting goals, analyzing data, motivating staff, and creating training and growth opportunities. Work with large-profile customers to promote Supplemental Health Care initiatives, address complaints, analyze budgets, and streamline sales processes while upholding core values of caring, expertise, and service.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage sales efforts to develop untapped markets and penetrate existing ones.
  • Provide individual support for sales team members as they generate leads and close deals.
  • Manage branch productivity through training, evaluation, expansion, and mentorship to meet business goals.
  • Create synergistic relationships with recruiting teams to maximize sales efforts, identify market trends, and grow internal talent.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
  • Create weekly and quarterly sales and marketing strategies to establish or expand staffing business.
  • Manage monthly sales goals to align with division budget.
  • Address client concerns promptly, present Supplemental Advantage features, and handle objections.
  • Maintain flexible schedules to service client requests and resolve complaints.
  • Hire, train, and develop office talent to build a profitable, growth-oriented team; coach and set weekly expectations.
  • Conduct daily whiteboard meetings and weekly wrap-up meetings.
  • Maintain minimum standards for the position and division.
  • Communicate and implement corporate vision and initiatives.
  • Make presentations to associations/organizations to increase awareness of Supplemental Health Care.
  • Manage internal and external company policies, including HR, Accounting, and Quality Assurance.
  • Align team with One SHC recruitment protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Interview and hire qualified candidates to fulfill business needs.
  • Identify and address underlying causes of turnover.
  • Meet daily with new hires to review training checklists and ensure successful onboarding.
  • Improve long-term productivity aligned with recruiters’ cohorts.
  • Maintain 70% or greater team retention.
  • Assist in OneSHC introductions across departments and mentor relationship-building for SHC success.
  • Ensure proper documentation of team into SHC’s proprietary database.
  • Work alongside leadership to improve processes and division growth.
  • Support ongoing training, development, and succession planning for team members.
  • Foster an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position may be listed as Senior, Director, or Senior Director level based on production and/or past experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of equivalent experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles in recruiting, staffing, production methods, or human resources.
  • Understanding of principles and methods for selling recruiting services, including marketing strategy, sales techniques, and sales management systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers and CRM software programs.
  • Must successfully complete onboarding training and attend future webcasts/trainings as required.
