Manager of Regional Sales - Las Vegas
About the role
Your Opportunity As a scholastic territory sales representative, you will play a key role in creating a positive, enriching school environment by celebrating experiences, milestones and achievements. You will service and grow your own territory accounts. You will maintain, strengthen and build relationships to stay apprised of customer needs and priorities as related to our services.
Responsibilities
- Create lasting partnerships internally, and with our customers.
- Improve upon goals and metrics in collaboration with corporate.
- Develop your own business plan to align with the growth and success of your professional career.
- Report activities weekly which support a solid sales growth strategy.
- Partner with key decision makers within your existing clients to identify additional sales and synergy opportunities.
- Build a successful career based on our core values and mission.
Core Activities
- Drive sales in both new and existing markets, with multiple products.
- Deliver compelling presentations to students, parents and key decision makers.
- Develop trusted and loyal business partnerships both externally and with our internal partners.
- Attend regularly scheduled sales and technical training meetings, including area, regional and national sales conventions for the purpose of learning products, industry trends, programs, and processes.
- Call on all assigned customer and prospect schools in the territory on a regular basis to effectively increase market penetration and meet sales growth goals.
- Develop and execute robust marketing campaigns in all prospects and accounts.
- Become an ongoing trusted specialist with your customers, utilizing value-add programs to deliver solutions.
Success Indicators
- 1-2+ Years of sales, account management, or comparable experience.
- Successfully grew or developed sales/business opportunities consistently over the course of previous employment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and/or client needs simultaneously.
- Responsive and dependable in communication, execution of self-appointed tasks.
- Unafraid to work in a highly competitive market, driven primarily by relationships and value-added products.
- Determined, focused and organized.
- Highly Independent, entrepreneurial mindset.
- A passion for helping schools, parents, and students capture and celebrate their important achievements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree - Business, preferred.
- Work experience in lieu of degree considered.
Physical Requirements
- Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Reading, communication, math.
- Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
