By developing and delivering on project needs including strategic account management, managing design and project managers, financial and client/external stakeholder relations you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Safety - Ensures adherence and cultivates a culture to HSE requirements for all projects in their portfolio and aligned PMs to keep our staff, contractors, clients and adjacent personnel and property safe
- Leadership - Manages, coaches and provides skill and career development for aligned PMs and front-line delivery management
- Talent Engagement - Supports the career development of PMs through the Project Manager Advancement Program (PMAP)
- Succession Planning - Ensures succession plans are in place for individuals in key roles and recommends hiring and terminations of PMs in coordination with others
- Driving Team - Drives team to provide outstanding service and solutions to Clients
- Client Management - Keeps Global and Regional Management and Program Director(s) informed of and engaged in critical project issues and developments
- Sales and Delivery - Supports the development of, reviews and approves proposal/pricing, schedules and risk reserves
- Performance Management - Manages performance of designers, vendors and subcontractors by utilizing the skills and knowledge of our project managers and support teams
- Quality Assurance - Ensures compliance with all Project Execution Group and Quality policies, procedures, protocols and work instructions and appropriate use of all mandated project tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 20 years of experience in managing projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities
- Experience as a Project Manager on Life Sciences, Advanced Technology, Semiconductor and/or Data Center Projects
- Strong working knowledge in design and construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, environmental and LEED applications, team building and client relationship building
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field, but not required
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP) or Architect license/certification
- At least 10 years of experience with design of manufacturing Life Sciences or related industry facilities and in excess of $50 million construction value
