About the Role

HealthFitness has an exciting opportunity for a Programming Manager to be based out of one of our client locations in Smithfield, RI; Merrimack, NH; Covington, KY; Durham, NC; or Westlake, TX. In this onsite role, you will lead programming strategy across multiple locations, develop and execute engagement plans tailored to each site, and ensure high-quality program delivery throughout the year.

You will collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to create meaningful experiences that drive participation, well-being, and organizational goals. Responsibilities

Leads the overall programming and communications strategy for the entire client portfolio (5 fitness center regions and 6 non-fitness center regions). Partners with the fitness center Program Managers and Program Coordinators in carrying out annual Engagement Plans, leads the charge and strategizes with the client.

Must demonstrate effective communication and provide prompt and thorough responses to difficult situations.

  • Lead all portfolio-wide programming standardization for 5 on-site fitness center regions and ~6 non-fitness center regions.
  • Create and maintain an annual program and promotion plan in partnership with Account Manager to align with client culture and enable success.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and key messages, leveraging standard content and tools that ensure a high-quality, consistent promotional strategy across all locations.
  • Assess effectiveness of programs and resources by supporting the consistent tracking of program participation and satisfaction to ensure continuous improvement that drives outcomes.
  • Identify innovations, trends, and opportunities to enhance programming through best practices and market analysis.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ related industry experience, including program management in fitness, wellbeing, or related environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Ability to travel up to 6x/year with overnight stays.
  • Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office including at minimum Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience in the areas of program development and implementation, data collection and analysis, and outcomes reporting.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 annually. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.

Schedule

Flexible Monday-Friday schedule, with typical hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
