Manager of Professional Development & Engagement

About the Role

The Manager of Professional Development & Engagement will shape how US attorneys and business services professionals grow, lead, and thrive within a global law firm. This role designs and delivers impactful professional development programs and performance evaluation processes while overseeing engagement and retention programs across the US. The position partners closely with US Firm leadership, practice group leaders, HR colleagues, and global counterparts to ensure alignment with firmwide strategy and US-specific goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver professional development and training programs.
• Develop and manage induction and early careers programs.
• Oversee employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Implement and refine performance evaluation processes.
• Foster leadership and collaboration across the firm.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in professional development and learning & development in a law firm.
• Strong understanding of the attorney career lifecycle.
• Experience designing multi-office training programs.
• Working knowledge of DEI and responsible business practices.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD highly preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000–$145,000 depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role and can be based out of our New Jersey, New York, Miami, or Philadelphia locations.
