About the role
The Manager of Preconstruction oversees all aspects of the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring that all necessary plans, permits, and contracts are in place before construction begins.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all preconstruction activities including site visits, permitting, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in preconstruction management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
