About the role

CLA is seeking an experienced Manager of IT Business Analysts to join its Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility, and a collaborative work environment. The manager will lead a team of IT business analysts who act as liaisons between business stakeholders and implementation teams, ensuring delivery of high‑quality solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for converting business requirements into design elements and configurations, providing comprehensive specifications and usage scenarios.
• Oversee delivery of functional specifications, designs, mock‑ups, wireframes, business process maps, and accompanying documentation for new development projects or amendments to existing software.
• Document current business processes (As‑Is) and envision future states (To‑Be) along with associated systems and applications.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Review and suggest system and process improvements to enhance user efficiency, customer service quality, data accuracy, and comprehensiveness.
• Lead sessions for eliciting requirements involving both business and IT staff, merging various technological disciplines.
• Ensure all processes and documentation conform to industry standards and typical software development life cycles.
• Collaborate with external vendors to define objectives precisely and keep projects within budget, scope, and time constraints.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of fundamental systems, applications, and technical frameworks.
• Perform data analyses to detect quality discrepancies, log issues and resolutions, and share findings with the team.
• Facilitate collaboration between the team and technical personnel throughout design, coding, testing, and implementation phases to guarantee clarity of requirements and resolve problems.
• Partner with Quality Assurance Analysts to outline and execute testing strategies for functional, integration, and regression tests using practical business scenarios and use cases.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience, including planning, facilitating, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Strong problem‑solving, creative thinking, and sound judgment.
• High level of integrity, dependability, urgency, and results orientation.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Skills

• Proficient in eliciting business requirements and modeling/mapping as‑is and to‑be business processes (BPMN).
• Experience with test planning, test case development, and execution.
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps (or similar tools), and process‑mapping applications such as Camunda or Lucidchart.
