Manager of Insurance Verification & Authorizations

For our client, we are seeking a Manager of Insurance Verification & Authorizations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will oversee a critical access function that supports accurate patient coverage checks and timely authorization workflows across the organization. The manager will guide a team responsible for front-end revenue cycle operations, ensuring service standards, operational consistency, and responsive support for patients and internal partners. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on process improvement, staff development, and smooth coordination in a fast-paced care environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $101,545 – $146,140 annually Responsibilities Manage daily operations of insurance verification and authorization services Develop and implement team strategies and objectives Create policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency Ensure accurate verification and authorization for all scheduled patients Address complex or urgent issues escalated by staff Monitor team performance to meet milestones and goals Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, or equivalent experience Five years of experience in acute care hospital or health system admitting/access Experience in a call center environment Three years of experience in a supervisory or lead role Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Retirement benefits Paid time off Supportive work environment with a focus on team collaboration Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
