Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Director of Finance on the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analysis for strategic planning.
• Analyze program performance and funding utilization.
• Aid in preparing monthly financial dashboards and KPI reports.
• Track key financial indicators and prepare monthly reports for leadership.
• Provide insights into revenue trends, expense management, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Develop cash flow forecast model to be updated in conjunction with Finance team.
• Assist with annual audits and 990 filings with CPA audit firm. Coordinate State and Federal audits.
• Lead for Accounting software implementations/improvements.
• Strategic Finance & Leadership: Advise executive leadership on financial strategy and sustainability.
• Support grant proposals and fundraising with financial data.
• Drive improvements/enhancements in financial systems, set up and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A roles.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite, Power BI) and Excel.
