About the role

The Manager of Emergency Department & Express Clinic oversees the operations and staff within the Emergency Department and Express Clinic, ensuring efficient patient care and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department and Express Clinic
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies and regulations
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and service quality
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall hospital operations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
• Respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or related field
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Knowledge of healthcare information systems and technology
• Experience with healthcare regulatory requirements
