Manager of Electrical and Plumbing Department

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree relevant to maintenance, electrical or building systems or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A current Michigan Master Electrician License.
• A minimum of six (6) years’ experience in facility maintenance plus two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
• Computer literacy including email usage, MS Excel and Word and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Extensive experience in the supervision of bargaining unit employees.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Working knowledge of BMS, Controls, PLC’s Square D.
• Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and radial distribution systems.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.
