Lead Safety. Influence Culture. Protect Our License to Operate.

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across our North American operations. In this highly visible role, you’ll translate our global SHE framework into practical, compliant, high-impact programs that strengthen our safety culture, ensure regulatory excellence, and proactively protect our people, communities, and reputation.

What We Ask

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Master’s preferred); 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within manufacturing (Dairy, Food, Ingredients, or Pharma strongly preferred)
  • Technical Expertise: Deep working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance, GMP environments, filtration, drying, and evaporating unit operations, wastewater and environmental compliance, Clean Air Act requirements, chemicals and solid waste management, and proven experience leading regulatory inspections and working with external agencies
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Core Competencies: Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline, influential communicator who builds trust and alignment quickly, proactive, solution-oriented problem solver, data-driven and digitally savvy, comfortable leading across multiple manufacturing sites, engaging people leader who fosters accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Your Impact
As the North American EHS Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Translating global EHS strategy into actionable, U.S.-compliant programs
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across FL, NJ, NY, and WI
- Protecting our License to Operate across manufacturing and office locations
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance
- Leading regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance responses
- Developing annual goals, budgets, and performance targets
- Coaching leaders and frontline teams on risk mitigation and regulatory expectations
- Embedding a safety culture grounded in our “I AM SAFE” philosophy

You will also play a critical role in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, understandable actions that resonate at every level of the organization.
