Manager of Education
About The Role
The Manager of Education plays a key role in advancing NBDF’s mission by designing, implementing, and evaluating national health education initiatives that improve the lives of people living with bleeding disorders and their support networks. Reporting to the Director of Education, this position combines program management, health education, relationship building, and team leadership to develop impactful educational programs and resources for communities across the country.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of high-impact initiatives, including educational programs focused on emerging therapies, health equity, and efforts to promote healthy living across the lifespan. You will also help cultivate strategic partnerships, support national conference programming, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of NBDF’s education strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and manage education, awareness, and outreach programs that support people living with bleeding disorders and their support networks.
Monitor program progress, contribute to evaluation efforts, and recommend improvements to strengthen impact and effectiveness.
Manage assigned projects from planning through execution, including reporting requirements, timelines, and deliverables across various members of the team.
Provide recommendations on program priorities and associated budgets.
Support educational programming for NBDF's Bleeding Disorders Conference and other national initiatives.
Education & Training
Develop educational resources and content across print, digital, video, and social media platforms.
Create and disseminate health education strategies, tools, and resources that NBDF chapters and community partners can use to support individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders.
Design and facilitate workshops, presentations, and educational sessions for community members, caregivers, and support networks.
Develop and deliver training programs for volunteers, facilitators, and others who help implement educational initiatives.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), healthcare providers, chapters, consumers, and other community stakeholders.
Facilitate and support volunteer working groups that help inform and advance NBDF's educational initiatives.
Develop partnerships with organizations and companies to expand awareness, education, and outreach efforts.
Participate in international collaborations and knowledge-sharing opportunities as needed.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues, volunteers, and stakeholders to strengthen education initiatives and promote collaborative success.
Partner with colleagues across NBDF to support communications campaigns, educational initiatives, conference programming, and other organizational priorities.
