About the role

The Manager of Digital Communications brings Special Olympics Indiana’s athlete stories to life online and turns audiences into supporters. This role owns the full digital experience: crafting email journeys that donors actually want to open, shaping a website that makes giving easy, and finding creative ways to grow our community across social, paid, and peer-to-peer channels. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to take powerful athlete stories and figure out where they land best, then use data to learn what resonates and do more of it. The right person loves both the creative and the numbers: you get energized by a great send, and you’re curious about why it performed. Your work directly fuels the mission, helping 20,000 athletes across Indiana through the revenue your channels generate.

Position SOIN website as the go-to source of information for the organization and its constituents. Collect and analyze usage data across website, email, social, and peer-to-peer; produce reports and dashboards to evaluate effectiveness. Partner with the coordinator of donor directed database to establish digital gift attribution, owning campaign-side tracking (UTMs, tagging) and using the resulting data to report on and grow digital revenue.
