About the Role
The Registered Dietitian Manager oversees the implementation and continuous improvement of Unite for HER's Culinary Nutrition Program for Wellness Passport and Empowered Living Program members. This role leads RD-specific initiatives — including scheduling and the creative content calendar — while analyzing and reporting monthly nutrition program activity to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition guidance and education to members through one-on-one consultations, tailored to the needs of the breast and ovarian cancer communities
- Deliver nutrition services for Wellness Passport and Empowered Living Program members, including at Orientation events
- Lead nutrition-focused creative campaigns across written, video, and social platforms
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to keep nutrition content accurate and current across the Nutrition Education Hub and identify gaps to expand the education library
- Review nutrition program metrics on an ongoing, quarterly, and annual basis to identify trends and improve scheduling, registration, and participation
- Manage the RD Team budget for all culinary initiatives and work with the Accounting Team to process speaker fees
- Develop and deliver oncology nutrition presentations for medical professional and patient audiences
- Attend and assist with all four Unite for HER signature fundraising events in support of the Development Team
- Maintain ServSafe food handler and allergen certifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with RD/RDN board certification and state licensure
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in oncology nutrition
- Strong knowledge of clinical oncology nutrition, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and evidence-based practice
