About the Role
The New York Post, a multi-platform media company with a rich history spanning over 225 years, is seeking a Manager of Commerce Partnerships to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about affiliate marketing and digital sales, with a strong understanding of the digital landscape. Reporting to the Senior Director of Commerce Partnerships, you will focus on prospecting new opportunities, executing campaigns, and fostering long-term client relationships to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a portfolio of accounts, focusing on beauty and lifestyle categories, for long-term and repeat business.
- Negotiate competitive commission rates and explore diverse monetization models tailored to different partnerships.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Ad Operations, Audience Development, Commerce, Data) to meet campaign objectives.
- Sell content and media campaigns across the New York Post’s suite of properties and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the commerce content team to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through strategic communication and optimization.
- Deliver and exceed quarterly budget goals.
- Respond to inbound opportunities and engage in proactive outreach.
- Participate actively in strategic planning and brainstorming sessions.
- Manage timelines and delivery of flat fee commerce campaigns.
- Assist in creating insertion orders (IOs) and media plans.
- Conduct research and analyze data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in affiliate marketing or digital sales.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in affiliate marketing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., CJ, Impact, Rakuten, Google Analytics, Looker).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and passion for client success.
Pay
Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus
Note: This role adheres to a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence 3 days per week (subject to change).
