Manager of Clinical Education & Onboarding- RN, PT, Speech Therapist, or OT- East Division
About the role
This person will develop, provide, and direct the onboarding and education of Clinical Managers, guiding and supporting them to fulfill their responsibilities of managing patient care and safety, improving clinical efficiencies and outcomes, and ensuring compliance with homecare regulations. They will also create and provide educational materials for field home health clinicians, including evidence-based practices, clinical policies and procedures, and patient care standards for the home setting.
Responsibilities
- Direct and/or provide onboarding and education for new Clinical Managers, combining onsite and virtual training via Teams.
- Support existing Clinical Managers with targeted education based on identified needs.
- Identify ongoing education needs related to clinical processes and outcomes, developing materials using PowerPoint and other software.
- Maintain current knowledge of educational materials from Interim HealthCare National Support Center and partner organizations, communicating availability to offices.
- Participate in monthly clinical forums, presenting information as needed.
- Serve as a member of the clinical services team.
Requirements
- Licensed as an RN, PT, OT, or Speech Therapist.
- At least 5 years of homecare experience within the past 10 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of home health regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing, planning, and creating educational materials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and education methods.
- Proficiency in developing educational content across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software for educational material development.
Schedule
Hybrid role with travel, remote, and in-office work. Travel required at least 50% of the time, with potential for more based on office needs.
Location
Ideal candidate resides in Southeast or East Ohio or the Pittsburgh, PA area to facilitate travel to offices in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
