About the role
The Manager of Applied AI Architecture, Enterprise Tech (Cyber) team at Anthropic will drive the adoption of frontier AI across the cybersecurity industry. They will help security vendors integrate Anthropic's AI capabilities into their products via Anthropic's API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise. The role involves managing and mentoring a team, setting goals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise tech partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of Applied AI Architects, Enterprise Tech (Cyber)
- Set goals and reviews for your team, promoting growth and output
- Work with key Enterprise Tech customers on their AI adoption strategies, focusing on pre-sales technical excellence
- Partner with GTM leadership to understand customer requirements and co-build GTM strategies
- Own the technical aspects of pre-sales engagements, ensuring compelling demos and validating ROI
- Drive collaboration from cross-functional teams to influence stakeholders
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for executive-level sessions and technical workshops
- Establish a shared vision for creating solutions that enable beneficial and safe AI in technology products
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions leveraging Anthropic's latest models
- Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and content creation
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role
- 3+ years of technical go-to-market management experience, specifically managing pre-sales teams
- Experience working with and selling to Digital Native focused customers
- Experience with enterprise AI deployments, API integrations, and production LLM use cases
- An organizational mindset and enjoyment of building foundational teams in an unstructured environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities
- Comfortable dealing with highly uncertain, ambiguous, and fast-moving environments typical of the tech industry
- A strong executive presence and ability to foster deep relationships with technical leaders and engineering teams
- Deep technical proficiency with large language models and/or ML in general
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and architecting AI-powered systems
- Able to identify core principles and translate them across scenarios
- A passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial
- Able to think creatively about the risks and benefits of new technologies and think beyond past checklists and playbooks
- Understanding of developer tooling, SDKs, and technical integration patterns common in enterprise tech companies
Benefits
Annual Salary Range: $315,000 - $380,000 USD

- Location-based hybrid policy: Expect to be in an office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more time in offices
