Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Excellent ability to establish metrics for Memory and Aging Center and employee goals.
- Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques; human resources and risk management planning; accounting and payroll.
- Excellent financial budgeting, forecasting, and project planning skills.
- Very strong skills to work collaboratively and act persuasively in sensitive situations; skills in conflict management techniques.
- Very strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead, motivate, and influence others and to develop and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Very strong written communication and public presentation skills.
- Very strong project management skills.
- Very strong ability to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify multiple options for resolution.
- Broad knowledge of the organization's processes, protocols, and procedures with a focus on budget, account, and fund management and/or personnel management under labor contract(s) and personnel policy.
- Minimum 6+ years of related experience and 3+ years of manager experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related area.
- Thorough knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Extensive experience with research program development, good clinical practices, protocol development, participant recruitment and retention, and site monitoring.
- Thorough familiarity with the following: Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-21, (Cost Principles for Educational Institutions); OMB Circular A-110 (Administrative Requirements for Grants and Agreements); OMB Circular A-133 (Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations); FDA guidelines.
- Certification in Clinical Research.
