Responsibilities
- Achieve department goals and objectives by developing new partnerships between team members, physicians, and the network.
- Align leadership practices with the values, mission, and vision of Community Health Network.
- Provide excellent service while supporting clinical standards and patient satisfaction goals.
- Build strong patient and physician relationships and support staff rounding.
- Ensure staffing assignments reflect appropriate personnel utilization, scope of practice, competencies, patient needs, and level of care.
- Use evidence-based practices to support the right patient mix, improve clinical outcomes, and increase patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5 (five) or more years of RN experience.
- 3 (three) or more years of management/leadership experience.
- 3 (three) or more years of experience in a level II NICU or higher (strongly preferred).
- 2-year / associate degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Certification required in relevant specialty or Nursing Administration within 3 (three) years of assuming the role.
- Knowledge and ability to apply Performance Improvement philosophy.
- Ability to manage financial resources, including departmental budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, be flexible, and problem-solve.
- Operationalize network goals, objectives, and imperatives.
- Understand the change process.
- Demonstrate leadership competency in effectiveness standards.
