About the Role

The Manager Nursing - Labor and Delivery oversees clinical and operational management of labor and delivery units, ensuring quality patient care aligned with standards. They lead teams, implement quality improvement initiatives, support staff development, and collaborate on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical operations of labor and delivery units.
• Develop and enforce care standards and monitor quality metrics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and advocate for patients.
• Facilitate staff retention, education, and professional development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practice changes.
• Lead a diverse team and manage staffing and staffing development.
• Foster a positive work culture focused on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Prioritize DEI initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance care outcomes.

Requirements

• RN licensure and BLS certification.
• BSN or ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Management or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
