About the Role

As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals. You will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions, skillfully navigating challenges to ensure individual performance and overall unit success.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing staff to specific shifts, taking into account past utilization trends.
• Measure employee performance.
• Assist in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
• Coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff.
• Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care.
• Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
• Provide nursing care to patients on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• One (1) year of leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse license in Arizona.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR certification.

Pay

$54.76 - $81.45 per hour.
